I wanted you to know how special Mr. Lewis was to our family. My dad and Lewis have been close friends for years...please know he was loved and will be missed. He was a kind soul with an infectious laugh and smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I pray you find peace in knowing he is home. God speed.
I worked with Louis with the NCDA for many years. He was the epitome of a true southern gentleman. He was such a sweet person. Praying for the family.
Louis was a great guy and friend. He was very knowledgeable of the ag. industry and will be greatly missed.
My Daddy worked with Louis way back in the mid 60's and then I was fortunate to be a part of his family through school in the 70's. He was always kind and gentle to me and I have very fond memories of time with him and his family. We shared a special moment in a grocery store last year that I shall treasure. Prayers and love to the family.....
Louis will be greatly missed. He was a great friend of our Daddy, Mama, and family for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. With deepest sympathy, Frank, Marcia, and Dawn Ferguson
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Johnson was a great man and even though I had not seen him in a long time, I considered him a great friend. In 1976 I had just graduated with a degree in Architecture from NC State and had no job with no prospects of a job in my field. Mr Johnson took a chance and gave me a job in the drafting room. It was one of the best jobs ever and I had a lot of fun drawing parts manuals for sprayers and sweet potato harvesters among other things. Later he let me set up a dark room and take photos of all the products. The company always felt like family and I loved working for Mr. Johnson because he fostered that atmosphere. He always had a smile and was so good to me the whole time. Heaven is better today because he is there. My prayers of comfort are with your whole family.
So sorry for your loss!!!
We met Louis at the beginning of the NC Mtn. State Fair, 27 years ago. He was a joy to know and we considered him a dear friend. The Dayton & Rudisill families

Louis and I were life long friends, both born in Pendleton. We were in sunbeams together with Virginia Parker, Many times I went home with Louis after church and spent the afternoon together, often with Ben Fisher. After evening service I would return home with my family. Louis will be sorely missed. Pendleton
