Condolences for Paul Spencer “Skip” Askew

Wanda Conner posted on 9/22/20

Skip never knew a stranger. When Ronnie and I first went to Higher Ground, he was one of the first ones to welcome us. He had the biggest smile and was so kind to us. He made us feel like we were welcome there. Miss Linda, I'm so sorry. Ronnie and I will be praying for you for the days ahead. Mr Skip will definitely be missed.

To the Askew family so sorry for the loss of your love one. Skipp was a great man who will be greatly missed by all. He worked for me many years at the Hertford County Landfill. He was a great worker and a very caring person. Gilbert and Charmont Hall Stephen

I worked side by side with Skip for many years. You spend a lot of time talking with the guy on the next bench. Skip always spoke about his love for his family and the mountains. Our deepest sympathies to you Linda, Mutt, Jay and extended family. Go rest high on that mountain Skip.
