Janet, I learned tonight at church from Wayne about David as he asked for prayer for you and your family. I am sorry for your loss, but from all the things I am reading he received his great reward! We will all be that blessed one day. God Bless you with peace during this time. Love and Hugs, Kay

David and I met while in high school when both of us were chasing the girls in St. John. He got a great catch in sweet Janet. I remember he had a Chevelle SS396 and loved driving the girls around. He went on to have a wonderful family with Janet and grew several successful businesses. Love and prayers for Janet and family.

Janet, Greg, Russ, and family - Gordon and I are so sad to hear about David. It has been years since we last saw him but we have kept up with your family through friends. Just know that David must have been a very happy man. Happiness does not result from what we get but from what we give - and David was certainly generous with his love for family, friends, and community. He will certainly be missed.

All of you are special to us.

My dear Janet, Greg, and Russ and family, I cannot imagine how you're feeling. I am so sorry about your husband, your daddy, my cousin. I am deeply saddened. What great memories we all have. We all loved him very much. You should be so proud of him. An ol' country boy doing so well and contributed so much to his direct family and St. John's family. A pillar of the community. We all will miss him so much. Everyone has always called me Lynette, but not David. He called me 'Nette. Always. Always made me smile. That was special to me. Never really realized how special that was until now. I pray for peace for all of you because I know you are hurting deeply but please rest on the fact that the you know that David was saved. He knew Jesus. Be comforted, for there is no better place than in Heaven and you will be reunited as you stay in right standing with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5: ' For we know that if the earthly tent [our physical body] which is our house is torn down [through death], we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.' - AMP I love you all so much. I am glad God chose you for my family. You and all of St. John's is in my prayers. Love, Lynette
