Bill, Wendy, and Family, Our prayers are with you . We understand your loss and wish that we could be there with you at this time. Please know how much Paulette was respected and loved and how she made a difference in so many lives through her teaching, mentoring, and service. I had the opportunity to have a conversation with Paulette a few weeks ago that I will always cherish. Wendy, she was so excited about her grandson and his accomplishments. She seemed at peace with her life and was proud of her family. Bill, she shared how much you and she enjoyed working in the flowers and garden. Please keep your memories close and celebrate the wonderful time you had together. She will always be with you. We will be there in thoughts and prayer.

Such a wonderful teacher! Thanks to her and her co-educators, my 7th grade year goes down as one of my most memorable years of my childhood. As a person, she was such a thoughtful and caring individual. I had the opportunity to babysit for her and another sweet lady as a teenager while they were pursuing higher education degrees at ECU. Unfortunately, I had not seen her in a while. My condolences to her husband, Wendy and her husband, and her grandson.
