Sissy and all the rest of the family, I was so sorry to hear of Bett's passing. She was such a sweet person and always had a friendly smile on her face. I don't think she knew a stranger. I know you will all miss her so very much. Heaven has gained another angel. She'll be waiting for you with open arms when it's your time to leave this earth. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

I remember Bett as having lots of energy and always serving others. She was a special lady and I am sure heaven became even a little more brighter. So sorry for your loss.

I had the privilege of getting to really know Bett when I worked at Glenoit Mills. I got to see a side of her, that a lot of people did as well. She helped so many people in so many ways when they were on hard times. I remember especially the Flood of '99 (Floyd), so many people were flooded and loss so many things. She helped them in any way she should and as well as with monetary gifts. She loved helping people in any way that she could, no matter what, and it's one thing about it she did not discriminate in any form or fashion, if you needed help, she was going to do what needed to be done. Cherish all the memories of such a good woman. With my heartfelt sympathy.

Kent and I are saddened by the home-going of Bett. When we first moved to Hobgood 15 years ago, Bett was one of the first people who made us feel welcomed and like we belonged there. And over the years when we would meet she never failed to ask how we were doing and how my family was doing. She was one-of-a-kind and she will be greatly missed.

Dear Wayne and family, We are so very sorry to hear your Mama passed on to be with the Lord. She was always a joking, smiling, nice lady and I know you will all miss her terribly. But know she is with you all in your hearts and minds and the memories you keep will keep her close to you all forever. You will be in our prayers. God bless you all. Sue and Bruce Davis

This world grew dimmer yesterday when one of God’s bright lights left us but heaven is indeed brighter. My wife Joan and I are so sad to hear of Bett’s passing but rejoice in knowing she is now with Jesus and so many of her family and friends. We were so blessed to have known her and look forward to seeing her again ‘One Fine Day’. May God be with all of the family during this time and bless you all.
