Mr. William Jenkins ‘Billy’ Bryant, age 58 died on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Mr. Bryant is a native of Hertford County, however he made his home in Bertie County living and farming in Roxobel with his brother for many years. He had a great love of farming and working the land. Mr. Bryant was very successful in his work. He was a member of the Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel. Preceding him in death are his mother and father, Winfred Jenkins Bryant and Luther Lawrence ‘Mike’ Bryant.
Survivors include his sister, Lynette Bryant and her husband Carl Perry of Roxobel and his brother, Donald Bryant also of Roxobel.
