William Earl White, age 69, of Eure passed away. He was born on October 8, 1941 to the late Jesse E. White and Lizzie Jernigan White.

William, a construction welder with Metal Tech in Murfreesboro, was a Vietnam Army veteran. He was a loving father, brother and granddad. William will be missed by family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, William Carson White and wife Mary of Hertford, NC; brother J.T. White and wife Alma of Askewville, NC; sisters Ruth Cobb and husband Henry of Merry Hill, NC, Joyce Bullock and husband Gene of Williamston, NC, and Frances Davis and husband Teddy of Ahoskie, NC; grandchildren, Carson Anthony White and Angela Ledon Dean; and one great grandchild, Brianna Rose Dean. William was predeceased by a brother, Marshall White.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, one hour prior to services.
