I'm sorry I was not able to tell your family in person, but Mr. Vernon will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful neighbor to my Granny & Grandaddy Brinkley. My brother Josh & I always loved visiting him & Miss Virginia when we were little & Mr. Vernon always remembered me, hugged me & spoke to my children when he was out with his children & grandchildren whom I know he loved dearly, which was special to me. Hugs & prayers to the Riddick Family!!

Bart and family,
My sincere sympathy at the loss of your dad. I worked with him at the Herald office "back in the day", and he was a very kind and friendly man. He knew how to get the job done! My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. God bless.
