AHOSKIE, NC – Teresa Miller Futrell, age 67, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

Teresa was born on April 22, 1952 to the late Talmon Conner “T.C.” and Macy Harrington Miller in Ahoskie, NC. She was a loving daughter, sister, niece and friend. Teresa loved her family and spending time with them, however she cherished time she spent with her three rat terriers prior to moving into the Ahoskie House. Teresa will by deeply missed by all that knew her.

Left to cherish Teresa’s memory is her brother, Hilton Miller of Harrellsville, NC; aunt, Edith Smith of Aulander; and numerous cousins.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, with Pastor Greg Hurdle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, NC.

I LOVED TERESA DEARLY. ON HOLIDAYS WHEN I PICKED HER UP, SHE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT HER BROTHER, HILTON. SHE LOVED HIM ALOT. WE HAD GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

I only knew ber, through her loving brother Hilton..he shared memories of his sister. My favorite is of no. Carring her Pepsi drinks that she loved… if they let her she could drink a 6 pack of Pepsi a da day
