Rosa Lee Warren Braddy, age 93, of Hobgood, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
Rosa was born on July 21, 1929 to William and Daisy Warren of Martin County, NC. She was a dedicated member of the Hobgood Pentecostal Holiness Church, rarely missing a service. Rosa loved people and enjoyed visiting shut ins. She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her cooking with her family and friends. Rosa was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved Jesus with all her heart.
Rosa was preceded in death by her father, William Percy Warren; her mother, Daisy Bell Warren; her son, Johnnie C. Moore, Jr., her brothers, Henry, Percy, Jr. and Earl Warren; and her granddaughter, Teresa Amanda Harris.
Rosa is survived by her son, David E. Moore and his wife Darlene of Tarboro; her daughter, Teresa Ann Creech of Hobgood; her sister, Nina Bell Lee of Speed; four grandsons, Johnnie Moore, III of Smithfield, William Gay, Jr. and his wife Karen of Greenville, Raymond Pachnar and his wife Heather of Tarboro, and David Moore, Jr. and his wife Hunter of Rocky Mount; four great-granddaughters, Shelby Moore of Winterville, Jordan Harris of Washington, Gabby Gay of New Bern, and Saylor Pachnar of Tarboro; and two great-grandsons, Myles Pachnar of Tarboro and Elias Moore of Rocky Mount.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Hobgood Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hobgood. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hobgood Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear miss Rosa has passed she was a fantastic warrior for the Lord and I know she is in Heaven now..she blessed so many every Sunday at the rest home and I thought the world of her for many years; had no idea she had passed.
