Thinking of you in this time of sorrow.

Scott, Earle, & Skipper: I was grieved to read of your uncle Boozie's death in the N & O early this morning. He was an unique fellow and a great friend. I especially recall the time that mother was feeling blue & depressed @ her beach home. She called Boozie in Enfield to cheer her up. May God be with you in your time of sorry. Martin

I was sorry to hear the news about Boozie. I am friends with Gwyn and Marion Sykes in Havelock so she keeps me informed. Boozie was always such a kind person and made me feel so welcome the few times I visited Enfield and when he would come to the beach. It is hard to believe that Norwood has been gone over 7 years already. There are not many days that go by that his name is still not brought up for all the happy memories he provided for me and my family. A special hello to Marlan and his family. I think about you every time I eat shrimp with those veins in them. You were all such good people. I am glad you were a part of my life. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
