ENFIELD, NC – Marie Harrison Viverette, 83, of Enfield, passed away on November 23, 2018 at her home.

Marie was born on January 24, 1935 to Alonza and Thelma Mizelle Harrison in Martin County, NC. She was a devoted member and deacon of the Enfield Baptist Church, as well, she served many other capacities. Marie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening and cooking. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Viverette, two sisters, Shirley Brinson and Mary Jane Jacobson, and two brothers, A.L. Harrison and Larry Harrison.

Marie is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Pierce and her husband Ronnie of Louisburg, NC, Glenda  Roodenburg and her husband Billy of Edgewater, FL; a stepdaughter, Vickie Viverette of Staunton, VA; a grandson, Tommy Parrish and his wife Michelle of Nashville, NC; a great granddaughter, Madison Parrish of Nashville, NC; a sister, Dorothy Dail of TX; two brothers, William Harrison of Williamston, NC and Billy Harrison of Reidsville, NC; a nephew, Randy Viverette and his wife Diane of Enfield, NC.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Enfield Baptist Church, Enfield, NC, with Rev. Kerry Peeler officiating.
