Louise Hinson Lucas, died Tuesday June 29, 2010 in Heritage Hospital, Tarboro. Louise was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Her parents were Henry Hinson and Ruth Lancaster Hinson. Louise was active in civic and church activities including Ahoskie Women‚??s Club, First Baptist Choir and a Sunday school teacher, and other volunteer services in the community.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Hogan and husband John; Angela Urguhart and husband Burgis and two grandchildren Shaun Hogan and Hayes Willingham and husband Jodi. She is also survived by her beloved friend and companion Doris Britt.

Family will receive guests at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home at 1:00PM prior to Memorial service conducted by the Rev. Daniel Glaze at 2:00PM Friday July 2, 2010. A graveside service is scheduled at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Ahoskie.
