My Daddy worked with Louis way back in the mid 60’s and then I was fortunate to be a part of his family through school in the 70’s. He was always kind and gentle to me and I have very fond memories of time with him and his family. We shared a special moment in a grocery store last year that I shall treasure. Prayers and love to the family…..

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Johnson was a great man and even though I had not seen him in a long time, I considered him a great friend. In 1976 I had just graduated with a degree in Architecture from NC State and had no job with no prospects of a job in my field. Mr Johnson took a chance and gave me a job in the drafting room. It was one of the best jobs ever and I had a lot of fun drawing parts manuals for sprayers and sweet potato harvesters among other things. Later he let me set up a dark room and take photos of all the products. The company always felt like family and I loved working for Mr. Johnson because he fostered that atmosphere. He always had a smile and was so good to me the whole time. Heaven is better today because he is there. My prayers of comfort are with your whole family.
