Linwood Warren Bryant, 87, of Rich Square, North Carolina passed away at his home on Friday, August 13, 2021.

Warren was born on February 4, 1934, to Linwood and Annie Lois Bryant in Northampton County. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Warren graduated from Chowan College with a Graphic Arts degree. He worked most of his career as a typesetter for Pierce Printing Company in Ahoskie. He was a very active member of Victory Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids. In his earlier years, Warren enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at Lake Gaston. In his later years, he enjoyed reading, studying the Bible and writing Christian poetry. His family is proud to say he was a published poet.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Lois Bryant, his father, Linwood Wilson Bryant, and his youngest brother, Phillip Parker Bryant.

Warren is survived by his younger brother, M. J. Bryant and his wife, Paige of Rich Square; one niece, Tonya Bryant Smith and family of Windsor, VA; four nephews, Dane Allen Bryant and family of York County, VA, Millard Jason Bryant and family of Lasker, NC, Linwood Keith Bryant and family of Rocky Mount, NC and Eric Larson Bryant and family of Washington, NC.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 11AM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square. Rev. Doug Spivey will be officiating the service.
