Johnny Stephens, 59, died Thursday, August 20, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh. The Reverend Ricky Sorie will be presiding.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.

Johnny was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Creel Stephens; his son, Wallace Perry of Scotland Neck; his sisters, Billie Ann Owen of Youngsville, Linda Poe Jordan of Willow Springs, and Dee Dee Bigger-Smalls of Fort Walton Beach, FL; his brothers, Jimmy Holliday of Spruce Pine and Buddy Holliday of New Bern; and special friends, Cecil McCollum of Winchester, IL, Willie Davis of Frostproof, FL, Cathy Cranmore and Don Osborne of Mount Pleasant, TX, W.R. and Joyce Fewox of Frostproof, FL, David and Debra Holloway of Beeville, TX, Scotty and Jamie Wilson of Cookeville, TN, Carl and Debbie Mogensen of Natural Bridge, VA, T. Hyde of Monroe, LA, Henry Hampton of Salisbury, Jim Frazier of Miami, FL, Dicky and Mary Ellen Bland of Madison, FL, Ranier and April Munns of St. Cloud, FL, Steve and Susan Garner of League City, TX, Steve and Myrah Collins of Scotland Neck, Peggy Johnson and family of Scotland Neck, Jobie Wommack of Weldon, Mahlon and June Whitehead of Scotland Neck, Larry and Sue Braddy of Scotland Neck, Hilton Lamb of Virginia, Steve Raz of Harper, TX, John and Sally Seymore of Texas, Butch Wiley of Alabama, Daniel Hall of Alabama, Bill Seacrest of Alabama, Ivan and Nancy Brown of Illinois, and many other friends.
