I know this is late…..but better late than never right? Jane you were one spiffy woman as well as my aunt. And I loved to “cut up” with you and laugh. We had some good times at the “Village Superette” in Powellsville back in the 70’s. You were an endearing woman with strength to beat all. We loved you for that….and for many other reasons! You now have your angel wings…..so fly high and soar to the heavenly Father!

I heard of Jane’s passing just a short while back and my heart is so sad that she’s gone. Back in the day Jane would sit beside me in the Powellsville Baptist Church choir and it was dangerous. She would do or say something to crack me up and I had to keep my composure in front of the congregation! She was so funny and sweet that I would take the chance and make sure I sat beside her. I attended Jane and Reid’s wedding and the happiness on her face was just shining. I still have a couple of pictures from that day. God bless you, Jane – you were a dear friend and “instigator” and I will remember you with love always…

Reid, so sad to learn of Ruth Jane’s passing. I went to school with her and will never forget what a wonderful person she was. Such a great sense of humor, always so upbeat and the kindest person ever. Love to you and your family.

Ruth Jane and I attended high school together, and we lived across the road from each other. We had some wonderful times and lots of laughs. She was a lovely person. My sympathies to her family.

Uncle Reid, I am sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Jane. I will miss her. She was such a bubbly person. A lot of good times were had over the years at family get togethers. I will never forget her smile and jokes. She always had a saying that was between the two of us and I will always cherish that. RIP.
