My heartfelt condolences to James Edward White (Big Jimmy) family: Little Jimmy (my nephew), Ashley, Sue, Melissa, Doug, and Gary. My thoughts of Big Jimmy are when I was a teenager he was quiet, had some wild hair, was always barefoot, surfing, and his car. Always nice to me. Spoke to him a couple of times as the years passed by and he seemed to be much more talkative. We actually, talked a long time for him. We both enjoyed our conversations of the years passed by and the present. I know he will be dearly missed. “Remember the love and the memories never go away.” My prayers and thoughts for the family. May he rest in peace. Love, Linda

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing, he was good hearted and a good father to my son James Jr., I remember the good times camping a Kerr dam, and his hunting on his grandfather & grandmother Hobbs farm, I met him when he was going to Norview High School in the 70’s, he loved his Satellite car and remember him saying ” only clean shoes in this car” , I will never forget that Long Blonde hair and when he met my father he told me once ” he needs to get a hair cut “, Jimmy never wanting to wear shoes, loved going barefoot in the summer, he looked like the typical surfing young man…he will missed and prayers to his family…

We knew Jimmy since high school days at Norview High School. He was handsome, had a hot car and kind…We have fond family memories with little Jimmy and families at Kerr Dam camping, and we went on special trip to our Mema’s in Hematite, Blue Ridge mountains, for visit and men went hunting…He was a good man and Dad to Jimmy Jr. and beautiful granddaughter Ashley–now serving country in USAF. He touched our lives, will be missed and remembered. Our thoughts and prayers to families during this sad time.
