Gordon Paul Parker, age 59, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 at Vidant Edgecombe surrounded by family.

Paul was born on February 20, 1962 to Charles Parker and Anne Howard in Scotland Neck. He was married to the love of his life, Deanna Barfield Parker on February 22, 1980. They cherished 41 years of marriage. Paul was a hardworking man. He worked as a carpenter but was best known as a mechanic, he was always working on a vehicle. His hobbies included going to the drag races and fishing. Paul was a son, brother, husband, father but most importantly he was “PawPaw” to his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Parker of the home; a daughter, Ashley Parker Adcock and her husband, Joshua of Hubert; three sons, Gordon Paul Parker, Jr., Dustin Brian Parker, Cody Ferrell Parker all of Scotland Neck; seven granddaughters, Chloe, Naomi, Natalie, Carmen, Angelina, Paisley and Leia; two grandsons, Cody, Jr. and Logan; and three brothers, Timmy, Larry and David Parker.

No services will be held at this time as were Paul’s wishes.
