Rest in peace beautiful lady. Never a more radiant and gracious spirit have I seen. It was a blessing to know you.

My memories of Miss Christine from childhood are just wonderful! I thought she was the classiest lady in Scotland Neck, always dressed impeccably, always smiling, and really took the time to listen to a small child’s chatter. She helped ease the pain of so many of us during difficult times, and made each and every one of us feel so special. Rest in peace, Miss Christine. You blessed so very many people in your life. Thank you, from a small child’s heart…

Christine was so good to my sister and me when our father, Rev. William C. Medlin, passed away in 1993. I will always remember her kindness to two young women who had lost their hero.

I have wonderful memories of Chritine growing up in Scotland Neck. She always had a smile and greeted people with charm. I am sad to hear of her passing; but she is at rest with most of her loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty Lynn and all of the family.

Christine and the entire Moore family were a special part of my dad’s early life in Halifax County starting in 1932. Frank Moore was one of his first customers. Dad often cited the family’s moral and work ethic. I, also, had the pleasure of knowing them as friends and a customer. I often think of visits with Christine at the funeral home and talking about “old times”. She was always such a lovely, delightful and gracious lady.

Now living in Chesapeake, VA my visits became far too few. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I met Christine when I was in high school and working at Branch Funeral Home. She was quite a character and very dedicated to her family and profession. She had a long happy life and I know she will be greatly missed. Blessings.
