I am so very sorry for your loss!
I had the great priviledge of working with and becoming friends with Wesley over the last few years.I work with the NC Fire and Rescue Commission as the Certifications administrator so we spoke often about classes and certifications. Our conversations would always start out about work and end up him telling me about his family and his grandkids, who he loved very much!
There are many people who we come in contact with in our daily lives but only and handful you will remember fondly. He will definately be greatly missed by me and many others!!!!
I can not express how deeply sorry I am for your loss!!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry to hear about Wesley. I will be praying for your family. I grew up with Wesley and he was a great guy. I had just talked to him in St.John's a few weeks ago and of course he was taking the fire truck to get something done to it! He loved working with the fire dept. and I know he will be sorely missed!! May Jesus comfort you through this time...

Wes,
I will really miss ya, dude! We had some great times and some interesting calls as partners up at Sta 4 in Southern Shores in the old van style ambulances back in the day. Those were some fun times we had and I'll never forget them! You were a great partner and we all will miss you!
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as they try to get thru this difficult time.
RIP my friend!

Dear Cindy & Family,
I am truly sorry for your sudden loss. you are in my thoughts & prayers. I hope you will take comfort in knowing that Wesley is in a better place & that he will never have another ache or pain.
A TOUCHING POEM
THAT WILL MAKE YOU THINK‚
IF I KNEW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME
THAT I‚??D SEE YOU FALL ASLEEP,
I WOULD TUCK YOU IN MORE TIGHTLY
AND PRAY THE LORD YOUR SOUL TO KEEP.
IF I KNEW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME
THAT I‚??D SEE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR,
I WOULD HUG YOU AND KISS YOU
AND CALL YOU BACK FOR ONE MORE.
IF I KNEW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME
THAT I HEARD Gail Pridgen Gee LIFTED UP IN PRAISE,
I WOULD VIDEO TAPE EACH ACTION AND WORD
SO I COULD PLAY IT BACK FOR DAYS.
IF I KNEW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME
THAT I WOULD BE THERE TO SHARE YOUR DAY,
WELL I‚??M SURE YOU‚??LL HAVE MANY MORE
SO I‚??LL JUST LET THIS ONE SLIP AWAY.
FOR SURELY THERE IS TOMORROW
TO MAKE UP FOR AN OVERSIGHT,
AND WE‚??LL ALWAYS GET A SECOND CHANCE
TO MAKE EVERYTHING ALRIGHT.
THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE TO SAY
OUR ‚??I LOVE YOU‚??S‚
AND CERTAINLY THERE‚??S ANOTHER CHANCE TO SAY
OUR ‚??ANYTHING I CAN DO‚??S‚
BUT JUST IN CASE I MIGHT BE WRONG,
AND TODAY IS ALL I GET,
I‚??D LIKE TO SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU
AND HOPE WE NEVER FORGET,
TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO ANYONE
YOUNG OR OLD ALIKE,
AND TODAY MIGHT BE YOUR LAST CHANCE
TO HOLD YOUR LOVED ONE TIGHT.
SO IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR TOMORROW,
WHY NOT DO IT TODAY?
WHY NOT DO IT TODAY?
FOR IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES,
YOU WILL SURELY REGRET THE DAY
THAT YOU DIDN‚??T TAKE THE EXTRA TIME
FOR A SMILE, A HUG , OR A KISS.
AND YOU ARE SURELY TOO BUSY TO GRANT SOMEONE
WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE THERE LAST WISH.
SO HOLD YOUR LOVED ONES CLOSE TODAY
AND WHISPER IN THEIR EAR.
TELL THEM HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THEM,
AND THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS HOLD THEM DEAR.
TAKE THE TIME TO SAY
‚??I‚??M SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME, OR IT‚??S OK‚
AND IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES,
YOU‚??LL HAVE NO REGRETS ABOUT TODAY.
APOLOGIZE AND START NEW
AND TELL THAT SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU,
THAT YOU LOVE THEM TOO!
BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THIS DAY
WILL BE YOUR LAST.
THINK ABOUT IT!!!
I wish I could be at the funeral but I don't think I can make it.
You are in my prayers!
