Mrs. Alice May Parker, age 72 died at the Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie on Monday, June 9, 2008. Mrs. Parker worked for General Electric for many years. She was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel. Preceding her in death are her mother and father, Marion and Giles Parker, her husband, Issac Parker, her sister, Hazel McQue, two brothers, Robert and Jerry Parker.
Survivors include four daughters, Carol Tolbott of Louisville, KY, Cindy Baker of Hepzibah, GA, Barbara Ann Bristow of Kelford, NC and Hazel Jean Romans of Louisville, KY, one son, Chris Parker of Greenville, NC and one brother, Paul Parker of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
