“Miss” Alice was special to all of us who were with her in aqua aerobics class. She tried very hard to accomplish activities, and was very sweet and friendly. We took turns tying her bathing suit straps together with a shoestring to keep them from falling off her shoulders. She’d take her big towel and her walker and scoot out to be sure she’d get a shower stall before the rest of us got out of the pool. She’d say, “It takes me so long to wash my hair.” We were amazed at her determination! We called her ” our example to follow.” We will always love her.

Keith, Rohn, and Barry, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mother and she was very sweet. Once when I was about 13 or 14 years old, your dad took my brother and me to a fire he was reporting on. We were out late so he could do his story. Your mom was always so patient. When I got old enough, I joined the fire department largely due to your dad and your loving mom. I have fond thoughts of you and your family. Blessings to you all. You are in my prayers. Keith, be careful sliding into second base!!
