I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Bo’s passing. Doesn’t seem real at all. He was a good friend when we worked at the hospital together and always had the best sense of humor. God bless the family and friends, and God bless you, Bo. You will never be forgotten.

Words are so hard to find but memories of Bo are not! We all loved when he showed up and showed out! He is missed and will always have a seat reserved at our table! Our thoughts and prayers with those who are left behind and deepest sympathy for Bo’s family. Bo, I know you saw the real “river” at the end of the hand and I bet it is glorious…I’ll be seeing you later, save ME a good seat!

Dear Valorie and Bo’s Family,
I know your hearts must be heavy and sad as you said good bye to Bo, He fought a good fight, and my guess is he was able to live many months because of the love and care you gave him. Bo was wonderful to work with. Over the decades
that we worked together at RCH I watched him grow in his leadership and his knowledge of maintaining and operating the hospital. What he did for the greater community in maintaining and overseeing construction and renovations of a huge physical plant will not be forgotten. Bo also had a smile, he was always on call, and present when he was needed. His contributions were nothing less than admirable and I am sure that his relationships with friends and family are also worthy of similar accolades. Bo will be remembered fondly by the RCH family for making sure we had such a great hospital to work in. I would love to be with you tomorrow, however with Dorian raining down on NC today, it is not a good travel day. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers and when I think about RCH, Bo will always be part of the fond memories I have.
