Roger and family, I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. My family knew Miss Addie and Mr. Robert from "back in the day" at Eastern Office Supply, where Mr. Robert worked with my dad. He was always one of the nicest men I ever knew, and we always felt welcome when invited to Mr. Robert and Miss Addie's house. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I had the honor of being in Mrs. Askew's presence over the years and how I remember her wittiness and good spirit. She certainly had a sense of humor. I am thinking of Roger and the rest of her family during this difficult time.
