Sandra Cofield Futrell Wilkins age 72 of Rich Square died at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 23, 2017

She was born on December 25, 1944 to the late Johnny and Tiny Cofield. Sandra worked as a seamstress for several of the textile industries in surrounding area. Mrs. Wilkins was totally committed to her family.

She was preceded in death by mother, Tiny Elizabeth Cofield, father, Johnny William Cofield, sister, Margaret Askew.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Catherine Ann Futrell of Wilson, NC; two sons, David Futrelle of Conway, NC, Tommy Futrell of Rich Square, NC; sister, Joyce Bracy and her husband Frank “Bud” of Roxobel, NC; brother, Johnny William Cofield, Jr. of Woodland, NC; two grandsons, Daniel Wade Simmons of Greenville, NC and William David Simmons of Rich Square, NC; great-granddaughter, Alexa Cheyenne Scott of Garysburg, NC.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Eagletown Family Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Russell officiating.

The family will receive friends at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service of Rich Square Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 7:00-8:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or online by clicking here.
