Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Allsbrook, 69, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro.

Ronnie was born on April 29, 1948 in Scotland Neck, NC to the late Thurman and Mary Vick Allsbrook.  He graduated from Scotland Neck High School and served in the U.S. Army.  Ronnie loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  He especially loved playing and writing music and played weekly with friends in Scotland Neck.  Ronnie owned and operated Diversified Contractors in Scotland Neck for many years.

Ronnie is survived by his loving daughters, Ronda Marlow and husband Chan of Eagle River, AK, Sherry Gonzales and husband Sean of Chesapeake, VA, and Jeana Wetzel and husband Alan of Eagle River, AK; his beloved grandchildren, Brannon Gonzales, Victoria Hatcher, Nathan Robertson, Sasha Holbrook, Jasmine Suiter, and Kaylynn Marlow; and his special friend, Marjorie Blue.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.  The Reverend Doctor James Drake will be presiding.
