HOT SPRINGS, VA – Harvey Daniel Dunning, Sr., age 79, passed away on September 4, 2016 at the The Springs of Hot Springs, VA
Mr. Dunning was born in Bertie County on March 11, 1937, a son of the late Harvey L. and Annie Williams Dunning. Harvey was retired from the maintenance department of Planters Peanuts in Suffolk, VA where he worked for many years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty L. Dunning.
Left to cherish his memory are his two Sons, Harvey Dunning Jr. and wife, Michele of Suffolk, VA, Linwood E. Russell and wife, Andrea of Suffolk, VA; his daughter, Betty Jean Sightler of Gates, NC; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A graveside celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 2:00 pm at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain, NC.
