MURFREESBORO, NC – Ernest Christopher Edwards, age 43, died suddenly on February 24, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Edwards was born in Franklin, VA, on September 2, 1973, a son of Ernest Rudolph “Rudy” and Rebecca “Becky” Futrell Edwards. Chris was a member of Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church and worked in construction.
Left to cherish his memory are his two Sons, Christopher Quinton Edwards and Ernest Andrew Edwards of Murfreesboro, NC; his parents, Rudy and Becky Edwards of Murfreesboro, NC; a sister, Gay Whitley and husband, Doug of Murfreesboro, NC; and a brother, Brian Edwards and wife, Susie of Stoneville, NC. Also surviving are two nieces, Mandy Whitley of Raleigh, NC, and Phoebe Edwards of Stoneville, NC; two nephews, Wallace Whitley of Murfreesboro, NC, and Griffin Edwards of Stoneville, NC; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at any time at the home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
